One day my mom and I got in a fight,
She claimed she was right.
I needed to clear my head
So I decided to go to bed
And think about what she said.
I would've shouted in the past
But now those thoughts came to me last.
I am a better person now
And I finally realized how.
After changing my ways,
Things got better through the days.
Today is the day
I thank god and pray
For helping me
Be the person I want to be.
I really liked your poem! I know how hard it is to try to restrain myself from yelling at my mom sometimes but once you overcome the struggle it makes the relationship grow a little more! Awesome work :)
